Why use removable media.... especially so small just begs to get misplaced or intentionally lost if it goes against the prosecutors case.

99 years later:

Archivist: "Cool, and old 100 year SD card - lets load these files from this card to see what is on them!"

[Archivist puts them in the reader with a click.]

Computer: "Sorry, that file type is unknown and cannot be opened."

Archivist: [pouts] "Awwww drat."

Seriously, like we're even going to have anything that will read SD Cards in 100 years. Does anyone still use 5.25" floppy disks? Those didn't even come close to 100 years. Sounds kinda silly to ensure that data will last on a format for 100 years. Someone is going to have fun transferring the files to a new media format eventually.

Ok, so the SD cards are special, do they have to use a special writer as well or will anything capable of writing to an SD card do?

I'm guessing a wall blocking off areas you can't go too?

[citation][nom]Kelavarus[/nom]Sooo... How did they test that this will last for 100 years?[/citation]

They put it in a time machine.
