sdcard, refuses to mount or unmount

Able to go into file manager pull up the SD card and view files. not able to mount or unmount. When in settings under storage the card is not recognized.

Is the card formatted properly? If your phone doesn't recognize it, you'll have to use a PC to format the card. If the PC also doesn't recognize the SD card, then it's probably busted and you'll need to get a new one. That happens quite often, unfortunately, and there's not much to be done about it.
