SDHC card recover MP4 video

One corrupt MP4 file on a SDHC card other MP4 video clips play just fine - downloaded from camcorder via USB connection. The camcorder lost power and shut down abruptly while capturing the (ostensibly) corrupt file. Is it possible to recover / repair this MP4 video file? Any recovery freeware that works for video (not just still pictures)? All suggestions welcome. Thanks.

I have lost MP4 files with 4GB each on my memory card sd that I formatted by mistake and I got the large files back with Advanced File Recovery provided by this article:

I tried several software and this is the last one I use and also the one that restored most of my files.

Actually, I tried your recommended URL as my Sansung phone memory card received a “not formatted error” message. Many of my important contacts o this memory card also became inaccessible. It was really frustrating.
However, I found that freeware on the web. Now, I have restored most of my important data. It’s great.
