Simple Scan software that can scan to folder.

Hi,

I need to find a really simple-to-use piece of software that will allow my colleague to scan documents in PDF format to a pre-defined folder. She uses a Brother MFC-9140 to scan.

She often has to scan multi-page documents, many times per day, but is not hugely tech-literate, so the ideal would be that I would set up the software so that by default, the scans always go into the same folder; all she would have to do is open the software, give the file a name and hit 'Scan'.

Does anyone know of any free software that will do this for me?

I doubt there's any free ones because it would have to be compatible (ie must have compatible driver support) with that particular scanner model.

Vuescan is compatible with that model and can save in PDF format to your chosen folder automatically, but it's not free:
