Split HDMI from DTV

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if it is possible to split the HDMI output from my Direct TV DVR receiver to my Xbox One, and the TV like normal?

The issue is I really enjoy the new TV output on the One, but it doesn't support my DVR, and since there is only one HDMI out on the DTV box, I've had to switch the cable from the One to the TV twice now in one day to access my DVR on the TV.

I see HDMI splitters out there, but they all talk about splitting to two monitors, my situation isn't exactly two monitors. Thanks for any assistance!

You need an HMDI switch not a splitter. If you want to do 3D then make sure you get one that supports it like this one
