Task bar and windows start screen not working..

I cannot access windows settings and task manager . Not even start screen is working . I cannot access notification bar also. But i can access pinned application in the task bar. But some inbuilt apps like photos and groove are not working. Please provide a solution for this.

Recently i have upgraded to latest version of windows where task view option is added. It was fine for 2 weeks then this problem has occurred.

Did you try rebooting (turning it off, not sleep or hibernate but off, and then back on) to see if this resolved the issue?
