Texting problems can not send or receive

I have a Sanyo Cell Phone and somehow my texting got messed up. I can not send or receive texts. Went to Sprint today and they worked on it for an hour. They said everything was ok with Sprint and they could not figure it out. I was told by someone else that I could a hard core reset is this advisable or could anyone suggest anything else? Thanks

99% of problems with txting are the sim card and needing a new one regardless of what the dont-know-anything-tech's who work at these place. Do you know anyone on sprint that you can pop their sim in your phone and try it out or did they try a different sim card at the shop?

Thanks, Will give it a try. On the messages tried to send it also says Code 9230. Could I have hit a button to cause this? Not real phone smart !! Thanks

Sprint only uses micro sims for LTE, that would have nothing to do with texting
