UD query

hi guys,
i just joined the tom's hardware UD team, at the moment my computer is constantly on a LAN connection which is excellent, but in a month or so i will have to move off campus, and i will only have a 56k modem (about 2000 times slower, quite a performance hit i think you'll agree). i was just wondering if the UD agent needs to be conected to the internet constantly or will it be ok on a slow and non-permanent connection?

I need a 1.5 Ghz Athlon + 512mb ddr ram to write emails......honestly

It will be fine..
and if you dig, you can set to dial and go in to profile and shut off internet testing..

Hey, we are not all aslep, check out y numbers, I got 3 machines running now, and im trying to get my boss to go along with the idea, and that means 11 machines!
