VLC + MPC + Potplayer? Can I use all three?

Can I use all three on my Laptop? I mean, I am not asking to run all of them at once. But can I keep all three players on my laptop? So that I can use different player for different media files without having to uninstall or reinstall one.

Will the three software create any type of issue on my machine? Because Potplayer seems to download it's own codec pack. The other players I am using are VLC and CCCP.
