What Happens When I factory reset my htc desire 626s when my SIM card is locked

I need to know what happens if I factory rest my htc desire 626s when my SIM card is locked because I really needed my SIM card to be unlocked and when a couple of friends said to just reset I didn't know if I should've done it or not ????Help please ??!???

Why can't you get a PUK code from your Service Provider?

A reset will take it back to the day it left the factory. Try it but take the SIM card out first.

Absolutely free. With most Android devices, press the Power button and the Volume Up button at the sme time and a menu of option will show up. Choose the one you want by scrolling through the list using the Volume Up and Down buttons then select your choice by pressing the Power button.
