Hopefully this goes here, wasn't sure which subtopic to put this under...

Anyways I had a question about using a bootable flash drive for Windows. Does Microsoft update their ISO files? So for example, if I download the Windows 10 ISO and make a bootable flash drive will that ISO download change (be updated) in a month or two? I'm wondering if you need to/should update your bootable thumb drive every so often or if it doesn't matter.

Thanks!

It really doesn't matter. Win 10 gets automatic updates anyway. I doubt M$ will update their .ISO files until a major upgrade is released, like a service pack.

They no longer have service packs and are supposed to be on a yearly update since 8 so the iso shouldn't change til 10.1 next year. With 7, it wasn't changed til sp 1. 8 wasn't changed til 8.1 and 8.1 update 1 wasn't a change.
