After Effects Text Input

Hi,
I saw a few threads concerning After Effects on here, so I figured I'd ask this here. Sorry if it's the wrong place to post it on tomshardware, but it does infact say "Software". Basically, I am interested in how this person was able to make the text move in a formation as seen in this video at this precise time: http/youtu.be/U96BmiGiKzQ?t=51s . That is all I ask, the animations are different than before, how is this done? Please do not post your opinions on the video, it is not mine, all I ask is for you to tell me how this person did this.

There isn't anything special done. Although it's not clear what you mean by formation. They aren't grouped in any way.
