My Laptop: Asus ROG GL551JW-WH71(WX) 15.6" Gaming Laptop Computer (http://goo.gl/LX85zy)

Problem Description: So starting from the very beginning my laptop has had some problems with crashing and such. I've opened threads that have dealt with the problems (located here: http://goo.gl/dG66oN and here: http://goo.gl/uviwgW) but there is one more problem that is occurring.
Every time I put the laptop to sleep, when awoken, the laptop nearly 100% of the time crashes. That or things start acting up (browsers won't close, Windows taskbar won't respond, Windows home button won't respond). The only solution has been to run WinThruster and defragment teh registry.

But defragging the registry doesn't help if I try and put the laptop to sleep again.

I've run the following programs to try and solve the problem:
MemTest86 (on a disk that had to be booted onto to run)
WinThruster
WinSweeper
Malwarebytes
Avira Anti-Malware
CrystalDisk (to see if there were any HDD problems)

Nothing has resulted in fruition. This has resulted in my needing to keep my laptop on at all times.

Honestly in my opinion as an electrical engineer it's probably best to contact ASUS. More damage can occur to the computer if it is tinkered around with when the problem is based on circuit hardware. I have a feeling they might just replace the laptop on this one.

Hey, I'm having the same issue with the same laptop. Did you end up fixing your problem?

Hey! Yeah I did end up fixing my problem. It took a few steps (including downloading WinThruster, entering a command prompt, and uninstalling avira antimalware and downloading Avast Anti-Malware).
It should be in one of the links that I provided in my original post!

It may take a little troubleshooting, though. It took me... a few weeks to sort things out.

Oh all right. I fixed my issue yesterday by re-flashing my BIOS.
