Try doing the driver update the following way... and see if it works...
1. Go into "Control Panel" and then "Device Manager".
2. Open the "Keyboard" section and right click on your keyboard and click "Update Driver Software".
3. On this next screen choose the option to browse your computer for the driver and then click the option to let you pick from a list.
4. Now choose the option/driver for a "Standard Keyboard".
5. Now reboot the computer and see if the problem is resolved.
