clean the fan filter on Asus G75vw

I keep getting a message to check the fan filter. It says to check my owners manual for instructions but it is not addressed in the manual. I don't want to get overheated and ruin something. I paid a lot of money for this laptop.

There are YouTube videos which show how to open up the chassis and get to the filters. I'd link them but the forum filter is blocking YouTube video links again.
