Android box should come with hdmi connection Just plug it to the TV normally like a normal dvd/blue-ray player or external TV (DVB C, T or S) receiver.
If you have an AV receiver, Android box can also simply connected to the TV via AV receiver.

Laptops are also the same.

You have to tell the TV to that particular HDMI and the laptop to output to hdmi.
For android box, you just have to tell the tv.

For Android tablets and smartphone, you can do that with MHL adapter, if your android device and tv support MHL.
