Does ASUS G55VW laptop supports Ultra HD resolution on external monitors?

Hi

I am planning to buy the ASUS G55VW laptop but before that I have to insure that it supports the 2560X1440 resolution through its HDMI or Mini display ports.

Also I have to insure that its gaming performance will not be reduced when playing games on the external 2560X1440 monitor.

So may any one help my with these questions please?

yes it support 2560x1440 through the hdmi port not sure about the mini display.but performance drop is to be expected when gaming at that high res.even at 1080p the gtx 660 might choke a bit.why not go for the gx750?

you mean asus G75VX? just because it is more expensive
also it is much bigger I don't want larger than 15.6 device

sorry.i was thinking about cooler master psu.lol.anyway on that high res it will choke.even a 770m would choke a bit a that res.
