Dxtory recording software and OBS help

So I downloaded Dxtory full version. The quality was okay but I wanted better. I downloaded the Lagarith Losless codec and now when I record I only get the sound. It says it's an AVI file but it is just a music note where the video should be and I don't even hear any sound. I have tried downloading OBS recording software and It looks good, but then when I open the game I want to record I get this: http/imgur.com/sgTuDh3

I need help, I have a pretty good computer so this isn't on my part. I think my version or settings need to be changed. Thanks

Ok your settings is probably a bit wrong on OBS What is your settings on? Only interested in Encoding and Advanced
