Firefox hanging

Hi,
My Firefox is hanging very frequently .I removed all the add-ones and then used it but problem remained as it is . Recently I have uninstalled IDM it was not attached to chrome and the chrome is working fine .
Please tell me what to do????

Use Revo Uninstaller to remove FF.
http://www.revouninstaller.com/

Then use ccleaner to cleanup temp files, and registry errors.

Then, reinstall FF.
http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/fx/

When u do what aford10 posted ^, u don't have to install every FF release that comes out.

Some add-ons can't cope with every version that was just released.
