Hi there.
I have a problem/question, related with set box IPTV and dvd recorder.
I have set box for IPTV arris vip 1113 and DVD recorder.
Arris "uses" HDMI SPLITTER because one cable goes directly to TV, the second is reserved for DVD recorder. Recently i was using DVD recorder PHILIPS DVD R 3590, HDMI cable was connected to HDMI TO SCART CONVERTER and scart cable from converter was connected to SCART IN on DVD, SCART OUTon DVD was connected to TV (to watch DVD recorder). In this case i transfered digital signal to analogue and I was able to record.
DVD went wrong and few days ago I have bought new one DVD recorder, PANASONIC DVD RECORDER DMR EX 97 C. The problem is, that this DVD does not have a SCART PORT, but it does have a RF IN RF OUTand also HDMI OU. RF IN is related with CATV coaxial or antenna cable. DVD has also a decoder DVB-C and DVB-T
Question is how shoould i connect my ARRIS with this recorder? I found post, where is written similar situation and there is mentioned coaxial cable.

Is it possible to use a HDMI TO COAXIAL converter? If yes, which are good (links pleaseeee)? What about SCART TO COAXIAL (cable)?
Any other options to connect arris and panasonic recorder?
TNX and greetings from Slovenia
