Microphone issue Corsair H2100 7.1 Dolby

Hi, my microphone on corsair h2100 7.1 dolby surround has a problem, when i was talking on skype or when i was recording using my microphone, the sound, my voice, was very quiet and sounded very muffled. Is there any way to fix this?

have you tried turning it up in the software that the headset comes with ??
