my pc wont power on or charge

hello i have a dell pc, a windows 8 labtop and it wont power on or charge. The led lights on my labtop wont come on either. I tried to release staticbuild up but no matter what i do it wont come . The charger itself led lights up when i plug it into a wall. Please help

Does the laptop even work with the charger plugged in? If not may be a bad charger or the power port (among other things in the laptop itself may be bad). might contact the laptops manufacturer for help or take it to a shop
