Hi
I'm using a Dell XPS (Intel i5) laptop with Windows 7.
Usually I connect the laptop to my LG TV by HDMI cable.
When I plugin the cable to the computer I can hear the sound from the TV and not from the computer, which is great. However, after each time that I restart the computer or just putting it to sleep, the audio switch back to the computer, and if I want to hear the audio from the TV I need to plug out the cable from the laptop and re enter it back.
Any advise on how can I make the audio to go via the TV permanently?

Right click the small speaker icon next to your clock in the bottom right corner of your screen and select "playback devices". Right click the one with the picture of a TV and select "set as default/set default".

When I turn on the computer again, and go to the "playback devices" I don't see my TV as one of the options. Only after removing the HDMI cable from the computer and plugging it back in I can see the TV on the playback devices, which already set as default
