No sound on my sony Tv only when I connect when I connect a device using analogue cable .

I get sound and picture on my sony bravia Tv ( 2008 modle ) when I connect a device using hdmi, but when I connect a device using analogue ( Red ,White and yellow ) cables I only get picture but no sound.

Your TV should have a configuration option saying which audio input corresponds to which video input.
It's also possible that your "device" must be properly configured to output audio thru analog connection.
