That stick is for your TV, not for your computer. It is to receive miracast signal not send it.
Miracast requires both the device and TV have the capibility and odds are one if not both will not have it. Even if it does, it will be reduced quality on any 1080p file.

Here is a much much better option.
Either take a computer you already have or a raspberry PI and load KODI software on it.
On your PC you can add a network share to the folder with all of your movies and have KODI play it directly that way.
You can also use KODI as a chromecast/firestick and stream anything you want to it through wifi.

You will be much better off using hardwired ethernet, or at least a powerline adapter kit, over using wifi for 1080p movies.
