I just got a faulty motherboard replaced. but now my raid 0 doesn't seem to work as it doesn't boot up windows anymore.

Is there any software I can use to recover the windows installation?

Or maybe there's some setting i'm missing. I replaced a gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3 running bios version f8. strange thing is, i had updated the bios from F6 to F8 and it didn't affect my operating system. but this replacement that's the same board cant see my raid (?!)

Help please!

I guess you need to reinstall Windows.

It is complicated when your raid0 has been damaged. Here are the tips that i would like to recommend

1, stop using your storage media
2, connect it to another PC and connect your disk as external
3, use freeware icare data recovery free to restore files

Made all the correct settings in BIOS. Raid0 is detected. But windows does not boot.

Windows 7 Setup- Repair windows doesnt see my hard disks despite loading drivers manually.

bootrec.exe in command prompt says 'element not found' despite detecting windows 7 os installed in c:\windows

various attempts with boot recovery with paragon failed.

There really isn't much data i absolutely can't do without. its more about the headache of reinstalling windows and setting up my software the way i like it which takes about 5 hours.
