RCA to hdmi ?

I have a 65" curved smart tv that I want to connect to my 15 year old technics stereo 5:1. There's no rca on tv and no hdmi on stereo. HELP !

Check firstly what are the available output ports on the tv.

Most likely your TV has optical audio out. If your old Technics doesn't have digital inputs then you will need an optical to analog converter like this one

If the TV has a headphone jack then you can use it.

It has a lan then below it has a component in and below that an AV in which all look like rca but are not

15 years ago surround was through Toslink and/or SPDIF (coax version of Toslink).

Ok I've been to napkins and bought a optical to analogue converter with a optical lead. The TVs has one connect mini box which has the optical point. Connected that to the new converter and then the rca to the technics unit as it has no optical point. Turn the TVs on speakers out and still nothing . It's shut the sound from the TVs off but nothing at stereo
