I recently purchased a new Samsung H6350 smart tv, and one of the things I wanted to do with it is use it as a third monitor for gaming on the couch and watching videos online.

Problem is that for some reason whenever I move anything over to the Samsung screen it expands the program, making it way too big and way too fuzzy.

I've disabled overscan so that the program will at least fill the whole screen when maximized, but it's really annoying that it automatically blows up any programs moved over.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how to disable it?

Here's a short video on the issue:

This may sound stupid but i only tell you because i did this myself lol. Can you go to picture size (on your tv under picture size menu)? If you can choose 16:9 standard then below that turn on “fit to screen”
That worked for my issue. Your may be Greyed our but i figure it was worth trying to help you if I could. Good luck brother .
