My first monitor is pluged in my motherboard's VGA slot . Now i bought a new GPU with DVI slots . Because didn't have a DVI cable(i couldn't find one either) i bought a DVI to VGA adaptor and pluged in my second monitor . I went to control panel-->Display-->Screen Resolution and my computer has detected the second monitor (in the multiple displays i have put both extend and duplicate these displays) but the screen doesn't display anything . What do I do now ?

Does the second monitor have push buttons on the front or underneath? Auto will be the one to press if you have that button.

Using that facility, you remove any conflicts between the resolution you set and the monitors ability to display it.

there isn't a way to do this with one monitor plugged in the motherboard (because i will have to buy one more adapter) ? If not thx a lot for the help !
