trying to connect dual LCD to dell E5400

trying to connect dual LCD monitor to docking station of laptop... 2nd LCD is not working (no VGA signal); i have monitor 1 connected to dock via VGA, and monitor 2 connected to doc via VGA/ DVI adapter and M2 can't pickup a signal

I've already had this problem and it happens because your monitor isn't digital so it can't pickup the translated analog Vga because it comes out from digital. Use one monitor only or find a digital monitor.
