Dual Monitor knocks out sound on Dell XPS Sound

The moment I plug in my HDMI second monitor I don't get any sound.

I have a regular monitor plugged into the port -YES
Have I rebooted -YES
In the sound settings is the Dell ST2410 speakers set to default -YES
Have a switched the identical monitors connection -YES
Did it make a difference -NO
Is the sound playback moving up and down on the green sound indicator -YES

Are both monitors connected to same GPU?

Yes one is on the HDMI connection and the other on the new VG connection but again both are connected to the same graphics card

Spelling error from "VGA", or something I don't know about?

VG is Video Graphic cable ....anyway I have found my own solution so I will share it here.

Simply right click on the sound icon on the task bar.
Then choose trouble shoot sound problems.
Let that run and it found the issue. There were 2 "speakers" and it had reassigned to the wrong one. Now I know which set of speakers has to be chosen as the default set.
