How to make a Widows 8.1 DVD disk that works as a recovery disk.
What your actually making is an Windows 8.1 Enterprise Evaluation installation disk.
When the disk boots up, you select repair disk instead of install. This will give you access to all the repair programs as well as system image recovery option.

All you have to is, go to this webpage (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-US/evalcenter/hh699156.aspx) and download the ISO for Windows 8.1 Enterprise evaluation. This will let download the ISO file. Warning, this file is 3.7 gig big and takes a few minutes. After that simply burn to disk. When you boot this disk, just choose repair instead of install. Just note, that like all install disk it takes time to load. 2 minutes and 20seconds on my machine.
