I have owned this Lenovo z400 laptop for 2 years and yesterday the left shift key, capslock, G, and H keys became unresponsive. At first the G and H keys were outputting 4 and 7 respectively. Then later that day they became completely unresponsive. After looking for an answer I have tried the following:
Check if numlock was on.
Uninstalled and reinstalled drivers.
Cleaned keyboard.
Remove keyboard and clean the ribbon connectors 3 times.
Used an external keyboard that worked fine.
What can I do to fix this?
Is there a way I can find which pin is faulty(if that is the case)?
Bonus:
What keyboard do you recommend for the time being(onscreen keyboard is awful)?
