My. LG tv HDMI ports worked for the last 4 years but now it only works from my cable box. My dvd says it is connected but says

Try turning the TV off at the wall, remove all HDMI connections. Press the power button for 10seconds or so to completely drain any power left inside. Reconnect HDMI cables and see if you get something.

Its common for circuit boards to go bad, you might need to take it to a electronics repairer who can get the parts.
