Toshiba Satellite Will Not Turn On

The AC Light is on, but when I press the power button the power button comes on for ten seconds, then the power AND battery light go out. Without the battery, the power light still only turns on for ten seconds. I know for sure the CD drive is spinning, but nothing else shows signs of power. I've also tried resetting the BIOS. What else can I do?

Have you tried a new power brick (adapter)? I had a similar problem with a Toshiba Satellite and solved it by replacing the power brick.
