Satellite TV

Hello, I had a big storm go through and the following day I no longer had tv reception. I can get transponder signal numbers as high as 93 but the tv keeps telling me no satellite signal is found. I am a bit confused. If it can read the transponder shouldn't it find the satellite signal?
